After graduating with a Degree in Visual Communication I was asked to join Common. For two years, I worked in a small team of three people composed of a Creative Director, a Managing Partner and myself. The C.D I worked together with was Mark Stott, previously a C.D for ATTIK and a designer for The Designers Republic.
My roles included conceptualisation and executing designs in print, branding, advertising, environmental and screen-based media. Other responsibilities I had at Common were preparing, correcting and sending artwork files for handover to clients, printers and other designers.
My skills with industry standard tools such as the Adobe Suite are fluent and I have good hand skills. I make books, I love using my hands and crafting things. Shown here. I love the tactility and emptiness of paper.
Since stopping full-time work I have been freelancing for a handful of independent clients and Sydney Studios, namely de Luxe & Associates, Uncle, Wishart, Feeder Group and Mark Gowing Design.
