This page is called 'direction' as opposed to goals, aims or objectives because at this stage I'm currently unable to provide refined specifics. I have personal goals, financial goals, I set objectives for completing jobs, but for my love which is design the options are so endless I often have trouble deciding.
While some argue you can't get to where you want to go without knowing where you want to go, which I would agree with in certain contexts, I think it would be unproductive at this stage in my career to be overtly specific.
My hope is that I can always be learning, searching and enjoying the work I do, improving from each experience. Whether in the long run this has me ending up as a Creative Director, Art Director, veteran senior designer, a teacher, a type designer, starting my studio, or becoming a hobo, I accept any or all of these things are possible and more. This is my direction, a bright but realistic hope for the future based on the confidence I can take myself where I want to be.
